TV presenter Noel Edmonds has signalled his opposition to the proposed Mooir Vannin offshore wind project, saying he would not back any political candidate who supports it.
Responding to a follower on Instagram who urged him to “stand up publicly” against the development, Edmonds said he is not eligible to vote in the upcoming election but made his position clear.
He wrote that he “would not support any candidate who thought the development was beneficial to the people of the island,” adding to growing public debate around the impact of large‑scale wind infrastructure in Manx waters.
