Nominations have opened for the 2027 King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Government House urges island residents to put forward local groups whose work strengthens communities across the Isle of Man.
The nomination window runs until December 1, with successful groups to be announced in November 2027.
The award is the highest honour given to volunteer organisations across the British Isles and is considered the group equivalent of an MBE.
Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer said the island’s community spirit is reflected in the people who give their time without seeking recognition, adding that the award offers a chance to highlight the impact of voluntary groups and the individuals behind them.
He encouraged anyone aware of a group making an exceptional contribution to consider nominating them.
