New Catering Partners Sought For Freemasons Hall

Freemasons’ Hall Douglas Ltd is seeking new catering and facilities‑management partners as it prepares to broaden access to the venue for weddings, celebrations and community events.

The move follows Woodbourne House Catering’s decision to step back from its arrangement with the Hall, creating opportunities for experienced operators to support meetings of men and women Freemasons, public functions and larger gatherings.

While the Hall will continue to serve the island’s Masonic lodges, directors say they are keen to make the building more widely available for weddings, family celebrations, community gatherings and business events.

Chairman Ralph Peake said the change marks “a positive opportunity to open the Hall more fully to the island community”, describing it as a distinctive venue with strong potential for larger functions.

He said the team is looking for practical, reliable people who share Masonic values of integrity, friendship, respect and service.

Expressions of interest are invited from catering operators, facilities‑management providers and suitably experienced individuals, with visits available for those wishing to discuss the opportunities.
