The UK’s most celebrated tenor, Russell Watson, will return to the island next year to perform at the Gaiety Theatre.
He will stop off at the venue on October 30, 2027, during his new concert tour.
The Power of the Voice show will feature hits, operatic classics and West End anthems.
The latest tour for the four-times Classical Brit Award winner is described as his “most intimate”. The shows will be in theatres and will include songs and stories from his career. He will be accompanied by a live orchestral ensemble.
Favourites will range from Nessun Dorma to Music of the Night, along with contemporary hits.
Watson said: “Performing in Britain’s historic theatres holds a magic like nowhere else. The intimacy, the history, and the natural acoustics create a shared resonance between the stage and the audience.”
