Cyber Security Conference Next Week

A cyber security conference takes place in the island next week.

CyberIsle 2026 will be held at the Comis Hotel in Santon on October 15.

It brings together more than a dozen cyber security organisations.

The conference is in its eighth year and will welcome experts, businesses and government representatives.

This year’s event will explore the theme Cyber Security for an Uncertain Future, reflecting the need to look ahead, anticipate change, strengthen digital infrastructure and develop the security measures required to protect the island’s critical systems.

Michael Haywood, Director of the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance, said: “CyberIsle has become an important fixture in the island’s calendar, bringing together world-leading expertise and practical insights at a time when organisations face an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape.

“This year’s theme, Cyber Security for an Uncertain Future, recognises the challenges and opportunities presented by rapid technological change.”

He said the conference provided a valuable opportunity for businesses, public sector organisations and cyber professionals to learn from leading experts. Speakers come from across the cyber security landscape, including Microsoft, Computer Network Defence (CND) and Sophos.

CyberIsle is free to attend and operates on a cost-neutral basis, made possible through the support of its sponsors and partners.

The event is organised by the Cyber Security Centre for the Isle of Man, part of the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance (OCSIA).
