Demonstrators gathered outside Tynwald yesterday as members arrived for the final sitting. Most were from the No Offshore Turbines 4 Isle of Man campaign, holding signs and calling for the proposed Mooir Vannin offshore wind farm to be halted.
With an election approaching, protesters said they wanted the next administration to understand their message clearly.
Ian Strafford, one of the group’s campaigners told Manx.News:
“It’s a great turnout,” he said, “and I think it represents the strength of feeling on the Island with respect to Mooir Vannin.”
