Motorists are advised of a scheduled abnormal load movement taking place this morning as part of the Regional Sewage Treatment Strategy in Peel.
A piling rig will be transported by low loaders from Douglas to Peel between 9.30am and 11.00am, before returning empty to Douglas between 12pm and 1.30pm.
The route will run from the Sea Terminal via the A1, Queens Drive and Glenfaba Road to the site.
The movement has been coordinated with Highways and the Police to minimise disruption.
Road users are thanked for their patience, and apologies are issued for any inconvenience caused during this essential operation.
