A 13‑tonne abnormal load will travel from Douglas to Peel this evening as part of the Peel Regional Wastewater Treatment Project.
The delivery, the first of seven rotors for the new treatment works, will move under police escort via the A1 through St John’s, Queens Drive and the A27 Glenfaba Road.
The rotors form a key part of the treatment process at the new facility.
Minor delays are possible along the route, and motorists are thanked for their patience.
