Sight Matters will replace ageing boilers at its Corrin Court headquarters after receiving a £34,950 grant from the Manx Lottery Trust through the Dormant Assets Fund.
The funding will pay for new high‑efficiency condensing boilers, upgraded flue systems, improved pipework, system filtration and modern heating controls.
The charity says the work will cut energy use, reduce running costs and lower the risk of disruption caused by boiler failure.
Corrin Court is used daily for rehabilitation support, independent living training, social groups, assistive technology sessions and community activities.
Many visitors are older or have additional health needs, making a consistently warm and safe environment essential.
Kerry Healey from Sight Matters said the upgrade will help maintain a reliable, welcoming space while reducing environmental impact.
Manx Lottery Trust Chairman David Christian said the Trustees were pleased to support improvements that strengthen the charity’s sustainability and protect its services.
