A fundraiser has been launched to find the £5,000 needed for surgery for a cat in Onchan.
One-year-old tabby Suki was hit by a car this week and has suffered a fractured pelvis.
Owener Rebecca Shuttleworth said Suki will need specialist surgery off-island and she needs to raise £5,000 for the operation and travel costs.
She said: “She’s a gentle, playful soul who has brought so much joy into our lives and now she’s fighting through terrible pain.
“We want nothing more than to give Suki the chance to live the happy, healthy life she deserves, but we simply don’t have the funds to cover such an unexpected and urgent expense.”
So far £900 has been raised for Suki’s surgeon.
