The government has launched the annual canvass today for all households in the Isle of Man to update the electoral register.
Eligible voters must register correct information in order to vote in the House of Keys general election in September.
Everyone aged 16 and over who has lived in the Isle of Man for 12 months or more must register.
How to Register
There are two ways for the public to register or update their details.
- Improved online register – eligible voters can update their registration details at any time with a more efficient and convenient process. Even if voters have previously registered online, the new process requires them to submit their information one more time so that their electoral registration can be linked to their online services account. Once linked, details can be viewed and amended at any time.
- Paper canvass – forms delivered to all households on the island will include details on how to register online, and view and change personal information. Forms must be returned by Thursday, March 19.
Jury service eligibility should be confirmed online or on the paper form. Each year the island’s jury list is compiled from people on the electoral register.
