For the first time in its 88-year history, Onchan Silver Band is set to perform at the renowned Whit Friday brass band contests.
The event is described as “one of the most iconic events in the brass band calendar”.
Taking place on Friday, June 13, will see the band join others around villages in Greater Manchester.
The band added: “Often hailed as the greatest free show on earth, OSB will be joining hundreds of brass bands from around the globe this Friday, June 13, to perform across various villages in the Tameside and Saddleworth regions.”
