As we head into the New Year the current weather forecast seems to suggest that the climate will be thinking about getting it’s act together.
If this turns out to change – don’t blame me, I’ve just been searching every forecast for the hope of not getting soaked every day, or resembling piglet in the wind.
The rain or showers will continue through this evening and into tonight, but will largely die out by morning.
New Years Day
A generally dry day tomorrow (January 1) with some sunshine at times, fresh to strong westerly winds will fall to a light southerly by the end of the afternoon, with temperatures up to 9°C.
Rain then arrives during the evening with a strengthening southeast wind.
Long range weather forecast
According to the long range forecast we can expect some dry spells (thank you weather gods), with only a few isolated showers over the coming week.
Currently, the forecast suggests that there will be less rain, but a cold spell with return with lows of 3C next week.
