Residents on the Island are being urged by the Manx Government to be flood prepared.
The ground remains saturated following heavy rainfall in recent days.
Check your drains
People are being advised to ensure drains are clear and to put measures in place to protect your property.
Sandbags are being supplied for free by the DOI and can be collected at the four Civic Amenity Sites.
Flood dangers
They are also would like to remind members of the public not to attempt to drive through flooded areas and not to enter flood waters.
Due to the severity of the weather the Mountain Road is closed at this time.
Further flooding
Earlier in the week, the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service were dealing with numerous incidents of flooding as Storm Gerrit swept across the British Isles.
Station Officer David Cowley said that there had been substantial damage to properties and vehicles as a result of the flooding and crews are continuing to do their best to assist.
Heavy rain and wind caused trees to come down and roads flood.
The Fire service recommended that homeowners check their drains to ensure that they are not blocked with leaves and other debris.
