Representatives from Arlo’s Adventure visited Noble’s Hospital earlier this week and delivered gift bags to the Children’s Ward, Maternity Ward and Neonatal Unit.
Gifts were generously donated by members of the public, and the team at Arlo’s Adventure put together a huge number of festive bags to help patients and Manx Care colleagues get involved in celebrations.
Arlo’s Adventure gives gifts to Noble’s
Arlo’s Adventure is a charity that supports Manx residents requiring treatment in UK hospitals, and also provides support for bereaved families following the loss of a child or a pregnancy, visited Noble’s to deliver gifts to those who will be in hospital over the festive period.
Vicky Christian from Arlo’s Adventure said: “It’s been great to provide a bit of Christmas cheer to those who have to spend the festive season in hospital, as well as to those who are working during this time.
“We’re really grateful to members of the public for their support in putting together these gift bags, and hope that they can bring some smiles.”

The Charity
The charity, Arlo’s Adventure also has a book, which was written by Sarah Owen after the loss of her son, who was born premature at 27 weeks and passed away after six weeks in the neonatal unit in Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
Arlo’s Adventure was illustrated by 11-year-old Karmen St-John Cain and supported by local charity Tabitha’s Trust.
