The Steam Packet has helped enable local motocross star Beau Brown be named Champion at competitions beyond our shores.
Through its Supported Sports Scheme it helps local athletes and sporting teams compete in the UK by providing support and discounted rates for travel.
The 18-year-old has been supported by the scheme since 2019 and it has allowed him to compete in various motocross competitions in the UK.
Most recently he was crowned the MXY2 Youth 250cc Champion in the Bridgestone British Masters and was also the 2023 Bridgestone British Masters 125cc Champion.
The Steam Packet Company says it is “proud to support Beau, and all of the sporting talent on the island to help them compete at the next level”.
