Colby Football Club wants to able to use its floodlights for longer to meet demand for its all weather pitch.
The club’s Station Fields ground is a popular venue for clubs for training but is currently limited to using its lights up until 9pm.
In the application, chairman Kevin Kniveton said that it would like to be able to keep the lights on until 10pm.
He said this is “due to the increase in enquiries we have to use the facility, especially during the working week”.
