The first weekend of February and actually its not looking all that bad – for this time of year anyway.
There’s going to be drizzle, bit of wind and a few more clouds in the sky than wanted.
But, guess what?! No weather warnings (disclaimer: I’m just a journalist not a meteorologist so if this changes, don’t come for me).
Weekend weather
Today (February 3), there will be sunny intervals developing after a damp start.
Obviously there is still the risk of a few drizzly outbreaks of rain at times, so bring the coat if you’re going out.
Mainly moderate west or southwest wind and a top temperature of 10°C.
Sunday (February 4), I would argue tomorrow will be the perfect hangover day – hear me out.
It’s going to rain to start (guilt free lie-in), then its going to clear but stay rather cloudy, which basically means if you wanted to make yourself feel better about the night before, you can go for a walk or fresh air.
But also, if you don’t then fair enough because it’ll be cloudy and well thats not really a big fat vibe.
There will be a strong southwest wind and a highest temperature of 10°C.
Outlook
Monday (February 5) is actually suppose to be an alright Monday!
The Met Office says it will be often cloudy but largely dry with top temperatures of 11C.
There will be a good old Manx breeze of 20-30mph.
Tuesday (February 6) its going to be cloudy, with rain at times (oh the JOY!).
Wind won’t be too bad with a SW 20-30 veering N-NW 15 early Tuesday then increasing W-NW 20-25 overnight.
Tell me why, when I see the Met Office comments of ‘strong wind’, I’m like huh? Has this winter conditioned us to count anything below 50mph as ‘alright’.
