Manx poet Boakesey won an amazing £25,000 after beating ITV’s the chasers.
Boakesey appeared on Sunday evening’s show of the The Chase spin-off.
She told host Bradley Walsh she would be using some of the money to help send her best friend Helen to Australia and shared some of her experience of being the ninth Manx national poet.
Taking on three chasers, The Vixen, The Sinnerman and guest chaser The Maverick, Boakesey won with four seconds remaining on her time.
The Vixen told her: “You’ve gone above and beyond coming on one of the hardest gameshows on TV.”
A former Manx Bard, Boakesey had also previously appeared on Mastermind.
