Former Chief Minister Alf Cannan finally gets to ask some parliamentary questions next week after years of being on the receiving end.
The Ayre and Michael MHK is now on the backbenches, after five years as the head of the government.
Before then, he was Treasury Minister for five years. So, it is a long time since he had the chance to table questions for oral answer in the House of Keys.
He has three questions tabled for the sitting on November 3. The first is wind farm-related and directed at his successor, Chief Minister Chris Thomas.
He asks which ministers “have declared conflicts of interest arising from previous public statements concerning the Mooir Vannin application” and what arrangements have been made to ensure their “non-participation in its determination”.
His latter two are more constituency based and tabled for Infrastructure Minister Jason Moorhouse.
He wants to know what steps are being taken to combat coastal erosion in Kirk Michael and what assessment has been made of bus services in the north.
