Manx Care has announced that LV Care Group will deliver services at the new Summerhill View care home.
The £14.9m 60-bed residential care home on Victoria Road is due to replace Reayrt ny Baie, based on Albert Terrace.
Originally due to be run by the island’s healthcare operator, it was announced in January that it was possible a private firm could be contracted in to run the home.
Manx Care has said it will now work alongside LV Care to ensure the efficient opening of Summerhill View and to help ease the transition of residents from Reayrt ny Baie to Summerhill View.
The intention is that the facility will be open by November 2024.

The group is also said to be investing in the development of new services on the island.
