An MHK has called out the difference between local authorities and central government when it comes to keeping roads tidy.
Prior to his political duties, now MHK for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Tim Glover called out how untidy the mains roads of the Isle of Man are.
In response to his own statement, Mr Glover told Manx.News that “I think this illustrates the difference between local authorities and central government”.

He added: “Very hard to find a weed in Castletown as commissioners take this seriously.
“But the main roads which government are responsible for are very untidy and I will take this up once again with the latest minister at infrastructure.”
