Every household on the Isle of Man will receive a letter by Friday with the information needed to take part in Census 2026, ahead of Census Night this Sunday.
Residents are asked to count everyone in their home on Sunday and complete their census form online using the Census 2026 website.
The government says online returns are secure, convenient and help reduce public costs.
From Monday, April 27, anyone who needs support or prefers another method can contact the Census Office to request a paper form, complete the census over the phone, arrange a home visit from a field officer, or book an appointment to complete the form in person.
The office can be reached on 685700 or census@gov.im, and will also be open for drop‑ins at Customs House from 9am to 4pm.
People should include everyone who is usually resident in their household, even if they are away on Census Night, such as students living off‑island during term time.
Those in hospital, residential care or prison will be counted separately.
