Douglas Council says the start for this year’s Tower of Refuge Walk on Sunday will now be Broadway Slip.
It says this comes as the DoI has decided all of the steps from Loch Promenade have been deemed unsafe.
The Council said: “Please do not use any of the steps on Loch Promenade as they will be locked.
“The walk should commence around 5:45pm.
:Please also be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Conister Rock and the causeway can be uneven and slippery, so suitable footwear with good grip is essential.”
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads.
