A 33-0 lead at half time proved too much for Ramsey to claw back at Port-e-Chee in the Manx Cup qualifier, and the hosts went on to register eight tries.
Despite uncontested scrums called by referee Daryl Richards to accommodate a late Ramsey arrival, Douglas steamed away with five first-half tries to book their place in the Manx Cup final.
With scrums back to competitive status, Douglas turned the screw with scrum-half Nathan Robson, centres Conor Stephens and Shay Waterworth, and back-rower Liam Kirkpatrick crossing the Ramsey line for 28-0.

Craig McGee added another shortly before the break, Robson converted four, and burst over for his second try moments in to the second period.
Luke Ward went over for a 57th minute Ramsey try to give the northerners a fillip at 38-5, but Kyle Martin’s defence-splitting run and Stephens clocking up his brace, converted by Robson, took the wind out of Ramsey sails.
Robert Todd earned a late yellow card, but the 50-5 scoreline was as comprehensive as it looked and Owen Carvin’s thundering last minute touchline tackle summed up the result.
