Next Monday sees one of the big annual Marathons on the world stage in Boston, USA.
There will be eight runners from the Isle of Man taking part:
- Dawn Atherton;
- Paul Atherton;
- Matt Callister;
- Clive Dugdale;
- Sharen Gardner;
- Tim Knott;
- Mark Burman;
- John Quaye.
It will be a big occasion for all of them, but especially for Clive who by completing the race will receive his ‘Six Stars’ medal.
The Six Star Medal was introduced by the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2016 to honour runners who complete the original six Major Marathons – London, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago and Boston.
