Charities and community groups are being encouraged to apply for a share of a £3.5 million fund from the Co-op.
Applications for the Local Community Fund remain open until midnight on July 10.
The supermarket said it is looking to support projects focusing on food access, mental wellbeing, opportunities for young people, community cohesion and sustainable futures.
David Luckin, Head of Social Value and Community Engagement at Co-op, said: “Beginning the search for new local causes to take part in a fresh round of funding is always exciting, our members have told us that they want Co-op to focus on the real issues affecting people’s lives.”
He added: “Co-operation and, people working together can be very powerful, and our funding enables local causes to deliver projects that focus on issues that matter most locally.”
