A Coastguard helicopter from Wales flew into the Isle of Man for an urgent patient transfer in the early hours of today.
The rescue helicopter from Caernarvon arrived at Noble’s Hospital helipad at 2.10am today (October 7).
Douglas Coastguard Rescue Team and the Coastguard Duty Officer were called to attend, alongside ambulance personnel.
The patient was transferred “quickly and safely”.
A coastguard spokesperson said: “Thanks to our colleagues in the Marine Operations Centre at the Sea Terminal for coordinating the tasking with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Fareham.
“We wish the patient well.”
