Douglas Coastguards responded to an incident in which a dog had gone over the cliff on Marine Drive.
Yesterday (July 24) evening, the coastguard team met the owner to get an exact location along with other bystanders who had remained on scene.
Ramsey Mobile who were on Patrol in Douglas at the time also attended to assist.
The story had a happy ending, with the dog was soon recovered safe and well by the teams and handed back to its owner.
