Manx Care’s Day Centre for Older People is bringing ‘Coffee for Carers’ to the north for its fifth event.
This session will take place on September 15 between 10:30am and 12:30pm at the Northern Laa Meanagh, Reayrt Skyal.
It acts as an opportunity for carers and their loved ones to meet and greet staff and service users at the centre and to network with appropriate services whilst enjoying a coffee together.
Those who come along are invited to discuss what support is available with the following services who will be in attendance; the Northern Wellbeing Partnership, Crossroads for Carers, Sight Matters, Citizens Advice, Home Energy Scheme, Community Fire Safety Team and Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service.
Refreshments will be provided, but the centre is asking those who wish to attend to RSVP to the Day Centre’s email (NorthernLaaMeanagh.ManxCare@gov.im) by September 11 to ensure that there will be enough for everyone in attendance.
