Paramount City in Douglas is to reopen its doors on December 20, but this time as a coffee house and barbers.
Housed in the renovated nightclub, this new venue offers 35 years of barbering experience with the relocated and rebranded Ron Smiths Barbers and blends it with coffee passionate baristas.
While maintaining a nod to the building’s vibrant past, Paramount City welcomes families with little ones, a casual spot for friends to meet, and soon a venue for private event hire.
The newly transformed space will feature a stylish coffee house serving Conrods Coffee brews.

Also on the ground floor, Paramount City Barbers will open.
“We’re excited to bring something fresh and innovative to the Douglas Promenade,” said Lydia and Milky Quayle, owners of the new venue.
“By combining a coffee shop and barbershop in one location, we hope to create a space where people can enjoy quality service, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere, all while taking a moment to relax and recharge.
