A complaint has been made to the Information Commissioner calling for greater transparency over the Liverpool ferry terminal costs.
The spiralling costs of the ferry terminal have been a political hot potato for years and questions have been raised in Tynwald on numerous occasions.
Alf Caine said there were serious questions to answer over clauses in the deal and the obligations the Manx Government has taken on.
Accountability
“I have now submitted a complaint to the Information Commissioner seeking greater disclosure and transparency concerning the financial costs, liabilities and risks ultimately borne by the Manx public,” he said.
“This is not about political point-scoring. It is about public money, public assets and public accountability.”
