Conister achieves record-breaking profits for the third consecutive year as Manx Financial Group unveils impressive results for 2023.
Conister Bank’s parent company, The Manx Financial Group PLC’s (Group) Profit Before Tax soared to an impressive £7 million, marking a significant 35% increase from 2022’s £5.20 million.
This growth underscores Conister’s effective strategy and its pivotal role in driving MFG’s profitability.
Record Breaking Profits
Additionally, MFG witnessed a robust expansion in its balance sheet, which grew by 26.7% to reach £480.7 million, compared to £379.2 million in the preceding year.
This growth not only signifies a solid foundation but also reflects the Group’s potential for sustained expansion.
The year’s standout success, however, was in lending, where Conister Bank achieved unprecedented advances of £352.5 million, representing a remarkable 52% increase over 2022’s £231.4 million.
The Group subsidiaries including, Edgewater Associates Limited, MFX Limited, Conister Finance & Leasing Ltd, Blue Star Business Solutions Limited, Manx Collections Limited, The Business Lending Exchange Limited, Ninkasi Rentals & Finance Limited, and Payment Assist Limited have also made significant contributions to our success.
The integration of Payment Assist Limited and the acquisition of the UK Branch deposit-taking licence have led to a considerable increase in both net interest income and operating income, demonstrating the strength of the diversified business model.
