Four motorcyclists picked up fines and points on their licences within an hour of the roads opening yesterday.
Three of the bikers were stopped by police at Ramsey Hairpin within 30 minutes of the road opening.
The Roads Policing Unit said: “”30 “Thirty minutes after roads opening, we’ve issued three motorcylce riders with a fine and three points for speeding!
“It’s 30 for a reason. Please leave the racing to the professionals. We’ve previously mentioned our leniency, however this leniency only stretches so far, and when the safety of other road users are compromised, you’ll be dealt with robustly.”
Seven minutes later another biker was stopped and issued with a fine.
The RPU said: “This one was well beyond words of advice, and just shy of a court date!”
