The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating a fail to report vehicle collision.
They suspect an unknown vehicle has collided with a stone wall on Curragh Road, St Johns.
The incident has caused considerable damage to the wall.
It is believed the incident took place during the evening of Tuesday January 7 into the early hours of Wednesday January 8.
