Douglas City Council has agreed to enter into a license agreement to install a temporary ice rink on the tennis courts in Noble’s Park for Christmas.
The Committee considered a report submitted by the Head of Parks seeking approval to enter into a licence agreement for the installation of a seasonal ice rink in Noble’s Park.
The tennis courts at Noble’s Park would be required from November 25 until January 11 for site set up, operational use and the dismantle phase.
The committee agreed to give permission – but said the firm would need to register with the government, and apply for planning permission and apply for an entertainment licence.
