Creer to Seek Election

Garff Vice Chair Aishlinn Creer has declared her intention to stand for the House of Keys in the September 2026 general election.

Ms Creer, who joined Garff Commissioners in 2021, says she is standing to provide a “stronger voice in Tynwald” for the constituency.

“A voice that asks difficult questions. A voice that challenges waste and complacency. A voice that stands up for residents. A voice that delivers,” she stated.

The Laxey-born candidate cited concerns over Government spending, healthcare pressures, housing affordability, and deteriorating infrastructure. She also highlighted the Mooir Vannin windfarm project, saying the current administration is “not offering any comment on it. It is not good enough.”

Ms Creer, a former Executive Assistant in the private sector, was educated at Laxey Primary and Ramsey Grammar School, with further study at IOM College and Blackpool and the Fylde.

“On the 24 September 2026 we all have a choice to make. A choice between accepting the direction our Island is heading in or demanding better,” she said.

Anthony Allen, Sean Bostrom, Daphne Caine and Peter Kermeen have previously declared for the constituency.
