Manx rider Jamie Cringle has returned to the Isle of Man as he continues his recovery from the serious injuries he suffered in the Supersport race in this year’s TT.
In an update shared on social media, Cringle said he was flown back to the island on Saturday and transferred to Noble’s Hospital, where he will remain until he is well enough to go home.
He said he is still spending “about 95% of the day in bed” due to pain and the extent of his injuries, but is noticing “small improvements” each day.
Cringle thanked the doctors, nurses and surgeons who have treated him in Aintree and Noble’s, as well as the many people who have sent messages of support.
He said replying is difficult as “even something small is very demanding” on his body at the moment.
He also expressed gratitude for donations made to support him while he faces a long period away from work.
Cringle said he will share further updates when he has more news.
