Callum and Ryan Crowe have twice beaten the sidecar qualifying record in a blistering display this afternoon.
Having done the double last year they are the heavy favourites to top the podium again this year.
From a standing start the Manx brothers lapped at 119.668mph to beat the Birchall brothers’ qualifying record which they set in 2023.
As if that wasn’t enough, their second lap saw them cross the line with a time of 18:49.994 (120.202mph) on what is just their third timed lap this year.
The outright race record belongs to the Birchalls who posted an 18:45:85 (120.645mph) in the second race of the 2023 festival.
