Isle of Man Samaritans will hold its annual Dawn Walk on Saturday, inviting the community to raise awareness of support for people facing mental health challenges.
Walkers will set off from the Bottle Neck Car Park at 6:30am on March 28 before making their way along Douglas promenade to watch the sunrise.
The Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer and Lady Lorimer will join participants, alongside representatives from several island charities.

The event follows last year’s inaugural Dawn Walk, held to mark the organisation’s 45th anniversary.
“We had almost 100 people turn up for the walk last year and since it was so successful, we are hopeful that we will get the same positive response this year too,” said Aimee Grainger, Branch Director.
The walk will finish at Looky’s Lounge Bar at the Best Western Palace Hotel, where participants can share a cup of tea and continue conversations.
“Winter is a tough time of year for lots of people,” said fellow Branch Director Deana Douglas.
“The purpose of the Dawn Walk is to celebrate the clocks going forward and welcome British Summer Time, and talk to those people who have potentially been struggling.”
