Manx Care says there has been a delay in cervical screening result letters being sent to some people in the Isle of Man.
In June, the care provider launched its new Cervical Screening Management System (CSMS), an IT system used to send cervical screening invitations and results letters in England as well as the Isle of Man.
The new system is working as expected, but it has resulted in a delay in results letters.
Manx Care says that the issue has now been “rectified” and it is working through the backlog as “quickly as possible”.
It says that abnormal result letters have not been affected and continue to be sent in a timely manner.
