Bride Commissioners is calling on residents to not mis-use its open bin service.
Over the last few weeks the local authority has experienced the bin being used to “dump huge amounts of cardboard and plastics”.
The commissioners have reminded residents that the bin is for household waste only.
It warns that if mis-use continues, the open bin service can and may be stopped by the NPRCB due to regulations and controls at the waste plant.
Bin Mis-Use
If residents have anything other than household waste they are advised to contact the commissioners to organise removal.
These include:
- Plastic,
- Cardboard,
- Green waste,
- Rubble,
- Plasterboard,
- Wood.
The commissioners say that a clean and tidy village is what it aims for, so please contact the commissioners if you are unsure and it will be more than happy to help.
