The Rugby Football Union has delayed the start of the competitive community game season amid safety concerns over the condition of pitches.
The ruling has come as a result of the prolonged dry spell leaving pitches rock hard, which the RFU says it makes them unsuitable for contact rugby. The delay is until at least September 21.
Douglas Royal, Vagabonds and Vagabonds Ladies have pledged to update their fixture lists when possible.
