Devine to Fight for Commonwealth Title

Manx boxer Jamie Devine is to compete for the Commonwealth Silver Superfeatherweight title next month.

Devine will headline the bill at the Liverpool Olympiad looking to win his first title since turning pro.

The 29 year old, who turned pro after representing the Isle of Man at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, is unbeaten since going pro, with an 11-0 record.

Posting on his Instagram, Devine said: “Finally, a title fight incoming. I’ve been asking for this opportunity for a while so thank you to VIP Boxing Promotions for making this happen – this is where my career really starts.

“This will be a massive night for me headlining my first show at the Olympia, so let’s get the place bouncing.”

Devine isn’t the only Manxy competing for titles next moth, with Jade Burden’s rearranged bout for the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight title against Katie Smith will be held in Bolton on June 13.
