Three paddle boarders were rescued by a dingy today as they risked being taken out to sea in Laxey Bay.
Douglas Coastguards were paged alongside paramedics and the RNLI and a Coastguard Helicopter to aid the three.
The three paddle boarders, caught by the tide, were said to be struggling to get back to shore.
The Coastguard said that “fortunately as we were all arriving on scene a dingy that was in the bay was able to get them in tow and get them back to shore”
It added: “Thanks must also go to the Gentleman who raised the alarm ,once ashore the paddle boarders were checked over and found to be no worse for their ordeal, all units were then able to be stood down.”
