The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) will have staff on Tholt Y Will Road later today (February 13) removing deposits of snow.
According to the Department the road had been clear of snow, but wet weather has seen snow slip off adjacent banks onto the carriageway.
It says that local traffic management will be in place.

Work is currently underway clearing the Beinn Y Phott Road, which the DOI says will remain closed until this is complete.
Earlier in the year the DOI issued a warning to to drivers who are ignoring “Road Closed” signs.
A statement issued by the Island’s highway authority said they had received several reports of vehicles driving on the A18 Mountain Road between Ramsey and The Bungalow.

Snow
The snow is still be cleared following last weeks little dumping.
At the time the Met Office suggested that “significant accumulations” were expected over higher ground (above around 500 FT) with the risk of disruption.
Areas above around 500 FT are most at risk of seeing significant accumulations of snow (5-10cm) with a small risk of 15-20cm above 1000 FT.
The snow led to several roads being shut in the south of the island, along with the Mountain Road and several of the routes leading up to it.
