The DoI intends to publish a summary report of responses to the draft 20mph speed limit order by mid-May.
Minister Dr Michelle Haywood confirmed the latest target having previously said it would be by the end of April.
The draft order, published on March 7, will see speed limits reduced on urban and rural roads and around schools.
Dr Haywood stated: “The Department will be publishing a summary report of the response to the draft order, which is anticipated now to be mid-May.”
She added that a copy of the final order will be deposited in the Tynwald Library.
While Dr Haywood intends to seek support for the DoI’s new way of rolling out the 20mph zones, Onchan MHK Rob Callister is to challenge that at next week’s sitting.
