Domicilium has expressed its pride in supporting local swimmer Alex Turnbull as he prepares to represent the island at the 2025 Island Games in Orkney.
The sponsorship follows Alex’s outstanding performance at the Edinburgh International meet, where he broke the Isle of Man long course record in the 50m breaststroke twice in one day, first clocking 29.41 seconds in the heats, then improving to 29.26 seconds in the final.
A dedicated member of the Isle of Man Swimming Club since childhood, Alex first made waves in 2019 when he broke the junior short course 50m breaststroke record at the Stockport Open just before his 16th birthday.
Team
Alex will be part of a 15-strong Manx swimming team competing in Orkney from July 12 to 18, looking to build on their success at the 2023 Games in Guernsey where swimming contributed 15 medals to the Isle of Man’s tally.
The company said: “Domicilium is proud to support Alex’s journey as he prepares to compete on an international stage.
“His dedication, discipline, and drive reflect the same values that shape our work: innovation, resilience and continuous progress.”
