Pets at Home has launched a pre-packed bag for customers to donate to the Isle of Man Foodbank.
This follows a similar scheme for people food and supplies that recently launched at Tesco.
The charity said: “Nobody should have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet. Pick up a food donation parcel at Pets at Home to help us feed local pets in need through the Pets Foundation and Blue Cross Pet Food Bank project.
“Every parcel you donate supports local people and pets when they need it most. We will be at Pets at Home again on Thursday 22nd August to meet you and accept donations, but you can buy a food donation parcel whenever you visit.”
