Her Majesty the Queen will visit the Island later.
Camilla will deliver a speech on behalf of the King at City Hall and unveil a plaque marking city status.
Her Majesty will also attend Government House in Onchan where she will be introduced to representatives from a range of organisations, charities and community groups.
Motorists should note that a range of road closures and restrictions will be placed in Douglas city centre throughout today.
